KARA'S Disbandment

Okay, I JUST found out that my goddesses- KARA, disbanded.

NO. THIS IS NOT HAPPENING! They have been going on so strong! I've been such a big fan! I love all the songs from OT5 and Mamma Mia and Cupid were amazing too! I've supported everything the group did- and now there is no longer a group. I just can't believe it.

Kara is an unforgettable group. They had worldwide hits like Lupin, Mister, and Step. They're legends in the kpop world! I literally watched so many variety shows just to see Kara.

 

Now, here's the sitch:

From the information in this article by Yonhap, I got that members Goo Hara, Park Gyuri, and Han Seungyeon left DSP Media to pursue other areas. Newest member, Heo Youngji is the only member who remains at DSP and is apparently going to pursue a solo career while with DSP.

Rumors have been that the trio has been searching for companies since late 2015. I'm pretty sure the separation isn't because the members have been feuding- There's probs something going down at DSP. Just about 2 months ago, April member Somin made the decision to leave the group after "long discussions". The original lineup had Kim Sunghee, who left a year after debut. And lets not forget Jiyoung and Nicole who left the group back in 2014 to pursue their solo careers. side note: "AGHHH I MISS OT5!"

 

"So what happens now?"

• Goo Hara- Hara is nowadays more active in Japan and China. And apparently the singer/actress signed an exclusive contract with KeyEast entertainment!
• Han Seungyeon- Seungyeon is now signed under Widmay Entertainment to further pursue her acting career.
• Park Gyuri- She's been rather silent with her future activities.... Hmm...

"What about Youngji?"

Youngji is still with DSP Media and is reportedly going to pursue a solo career. I know our Youngji mushroom must be going through a tough time. She just got out into the kpop world, being afraid of being overshadowed by her unnies. And now with the group disbanding must be a huge shock to even herself. So, lets give all our love to support our mushroom with her future activities!

 

KARA will always be one of my fav kpop groups ever! Every member was and is so special- I love them all for their own unique personalities. And I'll always support all former members no matter what they pursue! One thing that will never change is that I'll ALWAYS be a KAMILIA!!! <3

Starting Fresh

New Blog!

Hi. My name is Naeun. Nice to meet you!
That's a pretty decent intro don't ya think? In real life, that's how people introduce themselves right? When, you're meeting someone new that's something you'd typically say. Well, I'm starting anew. I actually changed quite a bit in the past few days- I don't know how.... I just FEEL DIFFERENT. Maybe I'll discover what "that" is overtime but for now, I want to be a blank page on a sketchbook. I'll keep adding on that page as time goes on. Anyways, if you're coming from my previous blog then, "Hey it's nice seeing you again!" Don't worry I'm sure I'm going to be posting more rants from life, kpop related stuff, beauty blogs, fashion blogs, and just random stuff in general! :) But, if you randomly stumbled on my new blog then, "Hey! Nice to meet you! Let's be besties! (^_^)"

Some info about me: Naeun is a nickname I received from a few of my Korean friends. It means something along the lines of beautiful, graceful, harmonious, ehhh.... I don't really know actually. XD I'm 1/4 Korean so, they decided I needed a Korean name. I don't why, I can't speak Korean all too well, and the name isn't very fitting cause I'm not shockingly beautiful, very clumsy and awkward, and seem to be quite weird at first glance. :P But, they just said I remind them of a singer named Naeun. Maybe, Apink's Naeun? Idk. Naeun isn't "officially" my Korean name given to me by my parents, but it's something I'm used to, and if people ask my Korean name is it's Naeun. Okay? Good. Glad to get that outta the way.

Now, my interests: I particularly LOVE fashion but, I'm quite a cheapskate. XD But, I want to grow into the fashion world eventually. I'm OBSESSED with Kpop! Not just one of those girls who majorly fangirls over one boy group, (although Seventeen is an exception), but I really like to listen to different groups too! So, if you want to fangirl together, I'll gladly except. :) And I love to play around with makeup, typically drugstore, cuz I can't afford high-end stuff. XD But, I'm really interested in Korean beauty as well. Maybe even more then American makeup. o_O I don't have any at the moment but, I'm looking into LOTS of sample shops to buy from. So, I'll review a few when I try them out! So yeah, this is basically what my blog will be about. Rants. Life. Fashion. Kpop. Beauty. K-Beauty. K-fashion... etc. So hopefully, I didn't chase you out with this lengthy post. Yeah. I guess I'll write more soon! ttyl.
